Pinal County Vision Zero Task Force

The Pinal County Vision Zero Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional committee with representation from the County, towns, cities, and tribes including public works transportation professionals, public safety agencies, and local governments.

The vision of the Vision Zero Task Force is to unite local stakeholders behind the common goal of taking meaningful action for safer streets while striving toward zero roadway deaths.

Our mission is to work together to reduce serious injuries and fatalities on public roads throughout Pinal County by 20 percent by 2030.

The Pinal County Vision Zero Task Force was borne out of the Pinal County Strategic Transportation Safety Plan (STSP). The Pinal County STSP meets the requirements of and serves as the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Safety Action Plan for Pinal County and its local jurisdictions.

The purpose of the Task Force is to ensure the plan remains an active, living document by tracking progress, sharing information, coordinating safety efforts, and providing recommended project updates to the SS4A Safety Action Plan.
